Street Photography -- Steelers game -- 10/4

For this assignment, I wanted to avoid simply just walking around PIttsburgh and shooting pics. Instead, I took this assignment as a photojournalist behind the scenes of an NFL game--in crowd perspective, both in and out of the stadium. That said, here are my photos:

  1. The 2nd shot is the best with all of the Terrible Towels waving as the two teams battle at the goal line. I think this picture out of all of them really shows the spirit of Pittsburgh fans. Looking across the entire stadium seeing blurs of black and yellow towels waving really paints the picture of the intensity of "Picksburgh Stiller" fans. Great shot, buddy...

  2. Thank you so much for those wonderful comments :) hmm about your photos....Even though for the first photo the light in the center was distracting, you did a great job with capturing the illuminated Heinz Field sign. The vantage point from which you chose was also sweet. The last one is disgusting but I liked how your subject was rare. I mean usually people don't photograph garbage on the street. So high five for being unique.

  3. The 2nd and 4th pictures are my favorite. I like the second one because it shows the excitement of the fans at the game. I also like how the lines on the field lead your view around the stadium. I think what you chose to photograph in the fourth image is interesting. I like how the background of the photo is dark but there are several colors that pop out from trash and the blue shoe.
